Stonewall Sports - Philadelphia Kickball Fall 2025
Stonewall Kickball is a community-run kickball league. We focus on providing a social atmosphere for the LGBTQIA+ community to unite while engaging in light competition. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior experience with kickball is needed to join.
As this is a community-run league, we ask all players to be familiar with the rules, that teams to regularly serve as umpires and base refs during the season, that teams commit to ensuring they can field a team for every day of play, and that teams work together to facilitate fair gameplay and a friendly atmosphere. While we ask teams to provide umpires and base refs, league leadership will always be on-site to answer questions, provide support with challenging calls, and maintain the official record of all team scores throughout the season.
When: Sunday afternoons from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Weekly schedules will vary. All teams should anticipate having games during any/all time slots.)
Dates: 08/24, 09/07, 09/14, 09/28, 10/05, 10/19, 10/26, 11/02, 11/09 (No games on 08/31, 09/21, and 10/12)
Where: Marconi Plaza (2800 South Broad Street)
Team Size: 15 to 22 players (Captains should only register a team slot if they are certain they have at least 15 players ready to join.)
League Size: 32 teams plus 4 Free Agent teams
Cost: $55.00
Free Agents: 4 team spots will be held for Free Agents (players who do not already have a team). Free Agents who want to ensure they are paired on a team with 1 or more players also registering as a Free Agent should register as a Small Group.
Format: A max of 11 players are on the field at a time, and all players present must be in rotation to kick during the game. A minimum of 8 players are needed to play each week.
Captains: Team captains are responsible for registering their team, selecting team experience level, affirming they have enough players to meet the required team size, tracking registration of their team to ensure all players are registered by the deadline, being familiar with the rules, and communicating with their team throughout the season to ensure there are enough players to play each week, teams are aware of base ref responsibilities, and that all pertinent league information reaches the team.
