Stonewall Kickball is a community run kickball league. Our focus is on providing a social atmosphere for the LGBTQIA+ community to come together and build community while engaging in light competition. All skill levels are welcome and no prior experience with kickball is needed to join. We offer multiple divisions (competitive, intermediate, and social) to do our best to ensure all players can find an experience they are looking for on the fields.

As this is a community run league, we ask all players to be familiar with the rules, teams to regularly serve as umpires and base refs during the season, that teams commit to ensuring they can field a team for every day of play, and that teams work together to facilitate fair gameplay and a friendly atmosphere. While we ask teams to provide umpires and base refs, league leadership will always be on site to answer questions, support with challenging calls, and maintain the official record of all team scores throughout the season.

When: Sunday afternoons, 12:00pm - 5:00pm

*Teams schedules will vary, all teams should anticipate having games at any/all time slots and be able to field a team at that time*

Dates: 8/27, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5 (No kickball on 9/3 or 10/8)

Where: Marconi Plaza (2800 S Broad St)

Teams: 36 teams. Minimum 14 players and maximum 20 players. Captains should only take a team slot if they are certain they have at least 14 players ready to join their roster. Smaller groups should join together as a Free Agent Small Group, and will be combined with other free agents or small groups on a team.

Cost: $55 per player - includes Stonewall Kickball T-Shirt 

Play: 9-week kickball league with teams competing head-to-head each week against another team. Social Teams (as indicated by captains during registration) will play 9 weeks of regular season games. All other teams will participate in a divisioning round robin on 8/27, play 7 weeks of regular season play by division, followed by an end of season 2023 Kickball Championship tournament on 11/5.

A max of 11 players are on the field at a time and all players present must be in rotation to kick during the game. A minimum of 8 players are needed to play each week.

Free Agents: Four team spots will be held for free agents for a total of 75 free agent spots. Free agents who want to ensure they are paired on a team with 1 or more players also registering as a free agent should register as a small group.

Captains: Team captains are responsible for registering their team, selecting team experience level, affirming they have enough players to meet the required team size, tracking registration of their team to ensure all players are registered by the deadline, being familiar with the rules, and communicating with their team throughout the season to ensure there are enough players to play each week, teams are aware of base ref responsibilities, and that all pertinent league information reaches the team.
