Stonewall Bocce is a community run bocce league. Our focus is on providing a social atmosphere for the LGBTQIA+ community to come together and build community while engaging in light competition. All skill levels are welcome and no prior experience with bocce is needed to join.

As this is a community run league, we ask all players to be familiar with the rules, that teams commit to ensuring they can field a team for every day of play, and that teams work together to facilitate gameplay, self-referee, and keep score. While we do not provide referees for each game, league leadership will always be on site to answer questions, support with challenging calls, and maintain the official record of all team scores throughout the season.

When: Thursday Nights, 6:15pm - 8:30pm

Dates: 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17

Where: Marconi Plaza (2800 S. Broad St)

Teams: 26 Teams Max, 3-6 players per team*

Cost: $30/player - includes Stonewall Bocce T-Shirt or Tank Top

*Play: 8-week bocce league with teams competing head-to-head each week. 2 players from each team compete at a time with new players rotating in after each game.  A minimum of 2 players are needed to play each week, so teams are encouraged to consider having at least 3 players on their roster to avoid forfeiting if one player cannot attend.

Free Agents: Two team spots will be held for free agents for a total of 12 free agent spots. Free agents who want to ensure they are paired on a team with 1 or more players also registering as a free agent should register as a small group.

Captains: Team captains are responsible for registering their team, affirming they have enough players to meet the required team size, tracking registration of their team to ensure all players are registered by the deadline, being familiar with the rules, and communicating with their team throughout the season to ensure there are enough players to play each week and that all pertinent league information reaches the team.
